S M Hudson Boatbuilders is an award-winning builder of Josher-styled, traditional narrowboats.
From the construction of the steel shell to the delivery of the finished boat, all work is carried out by skilled craftsmen in our workshops at Glascote Basin.
We are probably best known for our traditionally-styled boats with engine room forward of a boatman's cabin, but we are equally happy to fit a modern Beta 43 engine in the stern while keeping our traditional look outside.
Although we have various price levels for fully-fitted boats, the price reflects the amount of detail and level of specification, not the quality of our workmanship or the materials we use, both of which are consistent throughout our boats.

- 70ft. with boatman's cabin and engine room
- 62ft. with modern engine at the rear.
